About

Established in 2016

Meraloma touch rugby, initially called Vancouver City Touch, was founded by David Graham in 2016. Vancouver City Touch joined the Meraloma Club in 2021, giving them a home at the historied Connaught Park Clubhouse. Starting with four teams and growing to 12 at our peak, Meraloma Touch has a mission to grow high quality touch rugby in B.C.

Meraloma Touch is the only F.I.T (Federation of International Touch) affiliated league in the lower mainland, as well as the only league in Vancouver that is part of Touch Canada. Our players have opportunities to attend tournaments across the globe and participated in the first annual Touch Canada Nationals in Toronto, ON. We provide an environment for new players to grow and skilled players to be challenged.

The Meraloma club has a rich history and has been around since 1930. Hosting a diverse number of sports sections such as bike club, cricket and rugby, the club has sport for everyone, in any season. Our unique, designated heritage clubhouse in the heart of Kitsilano is host to club hosting and gatherings of all kinds for our hundreds of members.
